Many industrial applications, including motors, pumps and technical devices with moving, rotary or pulsating parts, all produce vibration, oscillation and noise. Anti-vibration products are often fitted in industrial equipment to prevent damage and excessive vibration, and to attenuate noise. Vibrations can pass from machinery to adjacent plant, buildings and other equipment. Anti-vibration products are therefore used to eliminate or reduce oscillation and vibration, and therefore protect machinery, buildings and people from undesirable and potentially harmful effects. Anti-vibration products are available in a broad range of designs and materials for use in a myriad of applications. However, common to all buffers, dampers and shock absorbers is that they are made of absorbent elastomers that attenuate oscillation, vibration, shocks and noise.
PROFILE
PRODUCT ADVANTAGES:
- Prolong the useful lifetime of machinery, buildings and equipment
- Less maintenance
- Improve the working environment
- Less noise
- Easy fitting
- High elasticity
- Cost-effective solution
AVAILABILITY:
Standard anti-vibration dampers are supplied in natural rubber (NR), medium hardness Shore 57A. Special dimensions and alternative rubber materials, metals and hardnesses are available on request.
APPLICATION:
Anti-vibration products are gradually gaining ground in the industrial market where they are used to attenuate noise and minimise vibration from stationary equipment, e.g. fans, pumps, motors, actuators, driers, washing machines and compressors.
