Carsten Holms CH GR8 is a braided hybrid packing manufactured from high purity expanded graphite ribbons combined with high quality carbon fibre yarns in the corners.
The inclusion of carbon fibre yarns ensures that the packing has excellent extrusion stability and wear resistance. It has a very low coefficient of thermal expansion si¬milar to steel, offering high temperature resistance and high electrical conductivity. Resistant to a wide range of chemicals with excep¬tion of powerful oxidizers.
